Robert Sicular, Danielle Levin, and Anna Darragh are currently performing in the critically-acclaime Marin Theatre Company production of AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY, which has now been extended to October 9th. marintheatre.org

RIPPED by Rachel Bublitz will have a staged reading at San Francisco Playhouse on Monday, October 24th.The reading will be directed by Claire Rice, and features Lindsey Marie Schmeltzer, Ron Chapman, and Thomas Gorrebeeck.

Catch Laylah Muran De Assereto in the role of Director on October 14th for the SF Olympians VII: The Servants one-act festival a the Exit Theatre, featuring plays by Bridgette Dutta Portman, Marissa Skudlarek, and Elizabeth Flanagan. Laylah will also be performing in Ex Nihilo's final installment of TERRA INCOGNITA, a radio play recorded live at the Octopus Literary Lounge. Episode 6 is written by Elizabeth Flanagan and directed by Shawn J West and produced by Jennifer Lynne Roberts, Bridgette Dutta Portman, and Elizabeth Flanagan.

Teddy Spencer is currently playing the title role of MACBETH (directed by Terri McMahon) with the Arabian Shakespeare Festival. Performances run until October 16th at the Royce Gallery in San Francisco, for more information check out www.arabianshakespearefestival.org

In collaboration with Taiko San Jose, Brass Band: Mission, and Moonshine Alley, Ignacio Zulueta acts as lead writer for Epic Immersive's MATTHEW BRIAR & THE AGE OF RESURRECTION, a four-acre site-specific production returning to History Park in San Jose from October 14-16.

Molly Noble will be directing DANCING AT LUGHNASA at Main Stage West, production set to open on October 14th

BECOMING NUMBER SIX, a play about surveillance, metadata, and Internet dating, written by Ross Peter Nelson and produced by the Second Star Performance Collective, will be premiering in New Orleans at the NOCCA Black Box Theatre from October 27th - November 5th. Steven Westdahl will be returning to the stage on October 29th for the Performers Under Stress production of  BLACK ROCK FALLS by Bryn Magnus. This humorous and event-driven drama follows a family in small town Wisconsin through Thanksgiving Weekend of 1978 in the wake of the Jonestown Massacre. Check out CCMT's production of 1776 and see Douglas Giorgis in the role of Edward Rutledge. The production is running from October 7th - November 5th at the Lescher Center in Walnut Creek. 

Opening October 14th and running through October 30th at the Left Edge Theatre's new space at the Luther Burbank Center will be ZOMBIE TOWN by Tim Bauer, directed by Nicholas Sholley, who is directing both the adult show and the youth show (with the Young Actors Studio). M. Graham Smith is teaching his directing course, DIRECTING WITH PRECISION, at Berkeley Rep School of Theatre this fall, Oct 12-Nov 16 (http://www.berkeleyrep.org/school/classes-adult.asp#tabbed-nav=directing), and directing a workshop of THE EMPEROR’S NIGHTINGALE for the CAATA festival at Oregon Shakespeare Festival on October 6 in Ashland.

Jerome Joseph Gentes is facilitating a panel on musical theatre production as part of a day-long workshop on HOW TO GET YOUR (THEATRE) WORK PRODUCED, hosted by PlayCafe/MusicalCafe. The workshop includes a panel on how to get your non-musical play produced. The panelists include Jon Tracy, Lauren Gunderson, Cleavon Smith, Jeffrey Lo, Annette Roman, Scott Guy, Patricia Milton, Min Kahng, Sarah Rose Leonard, Elizabeth McKoy, and Gretchen Feyer. After performing in HARD TIMES and BURNING BRIGHT by Ron Rash for Word for Word's Off the Page series, David Cramer will be working on the film THE LAST WORDS starting in October.
